About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Fulton, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, dock doors, warehouse spaces, and the outer perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and traffic flow for employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel, verifying entry activity and reporting unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Support day-to-day operations by observing facility activity, assisting with directions and general information, and completing assigned reports related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related matters.
