Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential issues and support security-related operations.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or government-related and/or industrial work areas.
Support order at the location by communicating clearly with site personnel, following post instructions, and completing routine logs, reports, and other assigned duties.
