As a Security Officer Patrol in Oxford, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations and concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with personnel and visitors, and support site operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor entry, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
