About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Experience Required in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government facility personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, access points, parking areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and authorized site contacts.
