As a Security Officer Patrol in Kodak, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a busy logistics and distribution location, helping to support a secure environment through routine patrols, visible presence, and strong communication. This role offers the chance to assist with security-related incidents, provide outstanding customer service, and work with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor access points, observe the movement of people and vehicles, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations within the location.
• Support daily operations by reporting hazards, damaged equipment, and/or suspicious behavior, and by following post orders and client instructions for assigned patrol duties.
