About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in Muncy, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor and staff screening practices in accordance with location protocols while documenting incidents and security-related concerns.
  • Write clear reports on daily activities, observations, and incident responses, and share relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.
