About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in Demopolis, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of food and beverage production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations while maintaining detailed, timely activity and incident documentation.
