Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support people with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Six or more months of security-related experience is required.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while following site-specific procedures and government location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to post instructions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify permitted entry, visitor activity, and/or deliveries in accordance with location policies and established post orders.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance or security-related issues, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
