Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying credentials when required, and communicating with property management and/or emergency contacts as needed.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directional inquiries, and reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations.
