Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, commuters, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, waiting areas, boarding points, perimeter zones, and other assigned areas, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with crowd flow during boarding and disembarking periods, and report maintenance, hazard, and/or suspicious activity concerns through proper channels.
• Support emergency and evacuation procedures, provide directions and general assistance to the public, and complete required reports related to daily activity, incidents, and/or policy violations.
