As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist employees and visitors with professionalism, support badge and access control processes, and communicate clearly with site personnel. Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor and contractor records in accordance with site requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
