As a Security Officer Patrol in Fulton, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access to the site, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while contributing to a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or access concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and deliveries, verify credentials and/or authorizations as directed by site policies, and report discrepancies to the appropriate contact.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing shipping and receiving areas, noting damaged property and/or unsecured access points, and completing routine reports on daily activities and incidents.
