About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in Lima, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This unarmed role offers the chance to support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset to every shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to supervisors and designated contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify potential hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support security-related procedures for deliveries, vendors, and restricted areas.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activity, and daily operations, and help support order and continuity across the location during routine and critical situations.
