As a Security Officer Patrol Examiner in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities as needed. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with visitor direction and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
  • Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives regarding security-related matters.
