Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, access points, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support site access control processes in accordance with location requirements.
  • Communicate with site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters while maintaining professional conduct at all times.
