About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Watch in Springfield, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report observations through required documentation and/or communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter, paying attention to restricted areas, access points, equipment areas, and unusual activity at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access credentials as required by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, production areas, and/or controlled spaces.
• Support site operations by following post orders, communicating with supervisors and/or local contacts, and assisting with traffic, visitor direction, and other security-related duties as assigned.
