Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions in accordance with site protocols, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Support daily operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of changing site conditions, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.
