Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, hallways, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions when appropriate, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or daily activity.
Support a professional environment by giving directions, assisting with visitor questions, and communicating clearly with staff, patients, and emergency responders during routine and urgent situations.
