About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in West Point, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, production or storage areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at gates, doors, and vehicle access points to help support authorized access and observe for suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and maintenance or policy concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
