About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access to the location and observe activity around the property, assisting with visitor directions, tenant inquiries, and/or reporting unusual conditions.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel when needed and following post orders for assigned duties.
