As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting conditions that could require attention.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, disturbances, and/or policy violations by monitoring activity, checking credentials when required, and maintaining a visible presence.
• Support daily operations by assisting with access control, visitor processing, directional assistance, and other security-related tasks based on site needs and post instructions.
