As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading and unloading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for employees, visitors, and/or drivers, and report unusual activity, damaged equipment, or unsecured areas.
• Support daily operations by observing shipping and receiving activity, following post orders, and reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
