As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in an educational setting.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with campus contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or mobile patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help to identify unusual behavior, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues, and report findings through proper channels.
• Support students, staff, faculty, and visitors with directions, information, and assistance during routine operations, events, and/or unexpected situations.
