About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist Team in Los Lunas, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor and delivery processing while following established security-related protocols.
• Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or security-related issues that could impact employees, visitors, or business activities.
