Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with check-in processes, directions, and policy questions while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Support medical and behavioral health locations by observing for escalated behavior, contacting appropriate personnel when needed, and following post orders for incident response and/or assistance requests.
