As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist II in Auburn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support guests with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A New York State Security Guard License is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts, observe visitor activity, and/or report suspicious behavior.
Document incidents, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant details to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
