Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, guests, and deliveries, verify credentials and/or shipping-related information, and report discrepancies according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, timely reports regarding patrol activity, incidents, property conditions, and interactions with visitors and/or staff.
