Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with management and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report maintenance, lighting, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, assist with crowd and/or line management, and support a professional atmosphere for guests and tenants.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and follow post orders and mall-specific procedures throughout each shift.
