About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Services Coordinator in West Jefferson, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a retail distribution location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for staff and/or approved visitors, and document security-related events, observations, and incidents according to site expectations.
Support loss prevention and operational goals by observing trailer, dock, and warehouse activity, reporting concerns, and communicating clearly with personnel on site.
