Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report concerns while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have X-ray screening experience, preferred.
• Have loss prevention experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns, and report relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
