As a Security Officer Patrol Clearance Required in Santa Rosa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess 6 months or more of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry points, visitor traffic, and/or credential checks in support of site protocols, while communicating clearly with staff and guests regarding security-related procedures.
  • Support incident reporting, shift activity logs, and/or communication with local responders when needed, while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
