As a Security Officer Patrol Screening Agent in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support loss prevention efforts, and assist with security-related screening and alarm response. In this visible role, you will help to deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, verifying access permissions and reporting unusual behavior, damaged property, and/or policy concerns.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity by observing trailer yards, inventory movement areas, and high-traffic locations, and escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures.
