About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol Rover to support a technology data center in Clarksville, Tennessee. The role serves personnel, visitors, and contractors by providing customer service, supporting access control and site procedures, and maintaining a visible security presence. The position involves monitoring and patrolling assigned locations, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting activity in accordance with company and site requirements. The stated pay rate is $19.71 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials according to site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation and documentation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the data center campus, business areas, perimeter, parking locations, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
