About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Route Driving in Wright, WY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a driving unarmed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to site needs with professionalism. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, equipment areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Observe and report potential hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.
