As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Hattiesburg, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, assisting with badge verification, visitor directions, and escalation of access-related issues.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while following Allied Universal and client site procedures.
