About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details and reporting them through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and/or public-facing spaces, assist visitors with directions or questions, and report maintenance, policy, or security-related issues to site contacts.
• Support order at the location by following post instructions, observing daily operations, and communicating with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders when needed.
