Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that values people and acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and shipping areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support site rules.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as required, and document deliveries, pickups, and other site activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
