Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
1+ Security experience verifiable
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or maintenance issues according to post instructions.
Support public-facing operations by answering questions, giving directions, and communicating with supervisors and/or local authorities when needed.
