About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Representative in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies across the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate communication channels when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document daily activities, observations, and incident details in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Support emergency response activities and assist with directing occupants, controlling access, and communicating important updates during operational disruptions or other security-related events.
