About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Representative in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to site needs with strong customer service, clear communication, and a people-first approach grounded in teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verify credentials when required, and support access control procedures for restricted areas.
Assist with traffic flow, vehicle patrol activity, and/or routine inspections of gates, doors, lighting, and exterior areas, reporting maintenance or security-related issues according to site policy.
