As a Security Officer Patrol Report Writer in Lake Buena Vista, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hospitality location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating clearly with site contacts and local emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, guest common areas, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and activity across the location, documenting observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in required reports.
  • Support hotel and resort operations by assisting with crowd management, directing foot traffic, and addressing policy violations in a professional manner.
