As a Security Officer Patrol GED Qualified in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Have 3+ years of security-related, military, or law enforcement experience, or an associate’s degree in criminal justice.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, ATM or entry locations, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor and/or employee activity, following site protocols for identification, entry, and reporting of security-related concerns.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
