As a Security Officer Patrol Presence in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic grocery environment. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide courteous customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the grocery retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations, as permitted by site policies.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
