Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that values integrity, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, observe site activity, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support daily operations at the location by assisting with visitor directions, answering questions, and maintaining a visible presence that helps promote order throughout the property.
