About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Partner in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Baton certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directions and general inquiries, and report maintenance, suspicious, and/or policy-related issues to site contacts.
• Support crowd management during peak travel times, service disruptions, and special events while following post orders and government location protocols.
