Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, technology, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor access as directed by site policies, and report access concerns, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity.
• Support day-to-day operations at the location by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.
