As a Security Officer Patrol Overnight in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant activity to supervisors, site contacts, and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify authorized access when required, and document security-related events, incidents, and/or daily activities in required reports.
• Support emergency response activities by providing direction during evacuations, assisting with crowd and/or traffic flow, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contact.
