As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Operations in Terrell, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, remain visible to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. Deliver outstanding customer service while communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and management. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, check credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site requirements.
