About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using technology to document observations and support daily operations. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery access in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Document patrols, observations, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
