About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and public activity to help support order and compliance with location rules and posted requirements.
  • Assist with documenting daily activity, incident information, and other required reports, while communicating professionally with site contacts, law enforcement personnel, and Allied Universal leadership.
